D-Day minus 1…

Overview:
- Team Sharp-Taylor have arrived in the arse end of nowhere (St Just) just a few miles from Land’s End in preparation for the big event kick-off tomorrow
- joined up with our fellow team members who seem very sound, and have some more experience of long rides, which should be a good thing. Reassuringly they also seem slightly apprehensive.
- we had a sharpener beer in a pub that is over 200 years older than America

Bad news:
- the weather is bad, very very bad, visibility very low with dark skies and driving rain… the Cornish microclimate is a myth
- video cameras don’t come with memory cards included, ridiculous!
- Day 1 tomorrow has been described as ‘lumpy’ and ‘the hardest day of the trip’

What we’ve learned:
- if we were cars Sharpy would be a Golf GTI, Joe a Rolls-Royce... this has nothing to do with cycling
- some fun s*** goes down in St Jus per the photo – would be a good place for a stag do

Daily Difficulty Rating:
MS - 2/10 (London traffic)
JT - 4/10 (too long spent in a car)

Nearly at our fundraising target – please help if you can - http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/lejogstory

Perfect timing

For once, the Express gets a story correct

Pretty easy to be honest

St Just - just massive! Roy's photo was also impressive

Rocking a rocking chair
Not at all worried
