What we're doing and why...

On 13th September, Matty Sharp (pictured below) and myself (Joseph Taylor, also pictured) will set off to Land's End in a bid to cycle the 950+ miles from Land's End in Cornwall to John O'Groats in the north of Scotland - we are aiming to do this in 9 days.

Signing up for this seemed like a good idea at the time, but as the weeks have passed and training has been mixed (in terms of both quality and quantity) it is now looming ahead of us like Mordor might to a hobbit (yep, lord of the rings reference).

To give us some additional motivation to complete this, we're raising money for a really good cause - the National Association for Colitis and Crohn’s (NACC) - please help us out by visiting our fundraising page and leaving a donation:

If for whatever reason you'd rather donate directly or in cash then let us know (taylorjoe@gmail.commatt_sharp@hotmail.com) and we can make arrangements

All of the above appears on the fundraising page, but feel free to subscribe to this blog for regular updates on progress Can we make it (past the first day)? Will Taylor have to push Sharpy up the hills? Will Taylor's helmet video camera result in him being beaten up? How long will Sharpy spend deciding what to have for breakfast... all this and hopefully some amusing scenes, to follow!
